08:53 AM EDT, 09/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Icahn Enterprises ( IEP ) said Monday that a proposed class action lawsuit against the company and certain directors and officers was dismissed without prejudice on Friday.

US District Court Judge K. Michael Moore ruled that the lawsuit, which was based on claims from Hindenburg Research, failed to prove "material misrepresentations or omissions" with an intent to fraud, Icahn Enterprises ( IEP ) said.

Icahn Enterprises ( IEP ) shares rose 1.7% in recent premarket activity.
