ICICI Prudential AMC’s S Naren says RBI policy gives good triggers to reduce lending rates
Feb 7, 2020 2:11 AM

S Naren, executive director and chief investment officer, ICICI Prudential AMC spoke at length about RBI monetary policy and specific sectors in an interview with CNBC-TV18. Naren said the Reserve Bank of India's policy provides a good trigger to bring down lending rates.

Naren also advocates that the telecom sector in a big country like India should have three survivors and they should perform better because of the amount of money people spend on telecom each month.

“I believe the opportunity in India is very much there and I would want to believe that we should have 3 survivors and it would be good that a big country like India has 3 survivors and all the 3 should have a superb outlook for the next decade or two,” he added.
