05:53 PM EDT, 08/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- IDEX ( IEX ) said late Wednesday it priced a $500 million public offering of 4.95% senior notes due 2029 for about $495 million in net proceeds.

The company said it plans to use the net proceeds to help fund its proposed acquisition of metal products manufacturer Mott, among other things.

The offering is expected to close Aug. 21, IDEX ( IEX ) said.
