Imperial Metals Reports Copper Discovery Near Mount Polley Mill in British Columbia

07:45 AM EDT, 08/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Imperial Metals ( IPMLF ) reported overnight Tuesday a discovery of copper mineralization located 4.15 kilometers north of the Mount Polley mill in British Columbia.

The company said step-out drill hole FP-25-01 intercepted 7.0 meters grading 0.70% copper and 0.27 grams per tonne (g/t gold), and 20.0 meters grading 0.25% copper and 0.96 g/t gold.

The results provide support for further exploration targeting in the surrounding area, Imperial said.

Imperial's share price closed 1.6% higher on Tuesday to $4.42 on the TSX.
