1: Khandwa, a city located in the Nimar region of Madhya Pradesh recorded the highest rainfall in the country on Tuesday. According to the data, the city received 118 mm rainfall, making it the rainiest area in the country.
2: Coming at the second position is Mahabaleshwar, the popular hill station located close to Pune, received 98 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours.
3: Pasighat, the headquarters of East Siang district in Arunachal Pradesh came third after receiving 96 mm rainfall.
4: Vadodara, one of the biggest city in India came next as it received 92 mm rainfall.
5: Valsad, another urban centre located in Gujarat came fifth and recorded 90 mm of rainfall.

8: Next in the list is North Lakhimpur in Assam. The city received 78 mm of rainfall.
9: Dibrugarh in Assam came ninth after receiving 75 mm rainfall.
10: Surat, one of the largest urban centre in the country came tenth after it received 69 mm rainfall in the past 24 hours.
