04:44 AM EST, 11/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ingredion ( INGR ) and Lantmannen said late Thursday they have entered a long-term collaboration to address European demand for sustainable pea protein isolates.

The companies said Lantmannen will invest over 100 million euros ($105.7 million) in a Swedish plant, with construction expected to complete in 2027.

The collaboration also includes "various facets of sales, product innovation, and process enhancement," the companies said.
