08:57 AM EST, 01/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Innergex Renewable Energy ( INGXF ) on Tuesday added the 13 MW La Cense wind project located in the Oise department in France to its development portfolio.

The project is being acquired through Innergex France, the company's joint unit with Credit Agricole Assurances and Credit Agricole Centre-Est.

Innergex is aiming to achieve commercial operations in 2026.

"This investment meets our performance objectives, and the La Cense wind project complements well our existing portfolio in France. Its proximity to our Bois des Cholletz wind farm and other potential future developments in the area creates synergies that boost operational efficiency and integrate seamlessly into our growing portfolio," said Innergex Chief Executive Michel Letellier.

The company also added the 20-year power purchase agreement with EDF to guarantee long-term, stable revenues.

Shares of the company closed down $0.02 or 0.3%, to $7.59 on Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
