10:49 AM EDT, 06/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Innoviz Technologies ( INVZ ) said Wednesday it is collaborating with an undisclosed automotive original equipment manufacturer to advance Level 4 autonomous vehicle capabilities.

Innoviz ( INVZ ) plans to add its new short-range light detection and ranging technology to the manufacturers' Level 4 autonomous driving platform.

The company said the partnership "will result in a series production nomination in the coming months, pending agreement of commercial terms."

Innoviz ( INVZ ) shares rose 10% in recent trading Wednesday.
