11:05 AM EST, 01/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE ) said Tuesday it is planning to introduce ICE GreenTrace, an environmental registry technology service, for the adoption of carbon credits as an asset class.

The company's registry technology offering will be used by its launch partner Winrock International's Environmental Resources Trust for its crediting programs, it said.

The New York Stock Exchange owner said it expects to roll out the service in late 2025.
