09:15 AM EST, 01/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE ) said Wednesday that 2 billion futures and options were traded on its exchange in 2024.

The market operator said 2024 was the highest volume year it has ever had, which included 1.2 billion commodity contracts and 753 million interest rate derivatives contracts.

In 2024, Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE ) said 655 million oil futures and options contracts were traded, including 346 million Brent futures and options, 92.8 million Gasoil futures and options contracts, 21 million ICE Dubai futures and options contracts, and 6 million ICE Murban futures contracts.
