Interface Showcases Carbon Negative Rubber Flooring Prototype

10:29 AM EST, 01/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Interface (TILE) said Monday that it is introducing a carbon-negative nora rubber flooring prototype that stores more carbon than is emitted during its production.

When measured from raw material extraction through manufacturing and packaging, the nora by Interface rubber flooring has a carbon negative footprint. The prototype includes more recycled and bio-based materials to achieve that, the company said.

The company added that it plans to make the product available by late 2025. The prototype is being showcased at ongoing the BAU trade fair in Munich, Germany.
