07:31 AM EST, 11/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- International Game Technology ( IGT ) said Thursday that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act for a proposed deal with affiliates of Apollo Global Management ( APO ) has expired.

Under the proposed transaction, IGT's Gaming & Digital business and Everi Holdings ( EVRI ) will be simultaneously acquired by a newly formed holding company held by Apollo affiliates, IGT said.
