IT consulting body, Information Services Group (ISG) every quarter details the deal contracting activity across service lines, verticals, and geographies.

According to their data for the month of September, there has been an improvement in deal activity; it has gone up by 4 percent on quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, the improvement is close to about 3 percent.

Based on this data, ISG has upped their overall growth outlook for 2020. They are expecting deal contraction in managed services to be only 6 percent versus 7.5 percent. Also, they expect As-A-Service to see a growth of 15 percent which is higher than what they had earlier anticipated.
