06:30 AM EST, 03/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Jabil ( JBL ) said late Tuesday it will open a new site in the Indian state of Gujarat, its second factory in the country.

The company also struck a new memorandum of understanding with the Gujarat government to mull the option of constructing a post-wafer fabrication silicon photonics site, Jabil ( JBL ) added.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Jabil's ( JBL ) stock was up 3% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
