08:32 AM EST, 12/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Jackson Financial ( JXN ) was Smart Insider's stock pick of the week after the company's non-executive Gregory Durant bought $135,000 worth of Jackson Financial's ( JXN ) shares at $90.28 apiece on Dec. 11.

This was Durant's third stock purchase, which increased his ownership by 5%, as he previously bought $87,000 worth of stock in June 2022 and $91,000 of shares in May last year, Smart Insider said in a note Tuesday.

It is notable to see Durant making his "largest" purchase at roughly three times the price only 18 months later, the note added.

Smart Insider said it previously ranked Jackson Financial's ( JXN ) stock as +1, or strongly positive, in June based on a "large buy" from Chief Financial Officer Cummings and director Kirdland, which "proved successful."
