Apr 29, 2024 2:06 AM

04:45 AM EDT, 04/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- JinkoSolar Holding ( JKS ) said Sunday a fire at a factory in China's Shanxi province is expected to impact the company's 2024 financial results.

The fire at the silicon wafer slicing and solar cell manufacturing workshop caused no casualties and did not impact the local community, the company said. As a result of the disruption, the company is reallocating wafer and cell production to other facilities.

Both the Shanxi property and manufacturing equipment are insured, the company said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
