J.M. Smucker Fiscal Q2 Adjusted Earnings Fall, Net Sales Rise; Updates Fiscal 2026 Outlook

07:24 AM EST, 11/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- J.M. Smucker (SJM) reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $2.10 per diluted share, down from $2.76 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.10.

Net sales for the fiscal quarter ended Oct. 31 were $2.33 billion, compared with $2.27 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.32 billion.

For fiscal 2026, the company said it expects adjusted EPS of $8.75 to $9.25, compared with its prior outlook of $8.50 to $9.50. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $9.11.

The company also now expects net sales growth of 3.5% to 4.5%, compared with its prior outlook of 3% to 5%. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $9.29 billion.
