Joby Aviation Signs Memorandum of Understanding to Introduce eVTOL in Saudi Arabia

09:49 AM EDT, 05/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Joby Aviation ( JOBY ) said Tuesday it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Aramco subsidiary Mukamalah to introduce Joby's electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft in Saudi Arabia.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

The company said the agreement includes direct aircraft sales to Mukamalah, which operates a fleet of corporate aircraft.

Joby said the deal is part of its strategy to commercialize its aircraft through direct sales to businesses and government partners.
