06:36 AM EDT, 03/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Johnson & Johnson ( JNJ ) said Monday that icotrokinra showed sustained skin clearance in patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis at week 52 in phase 3 trials.
New data from two studies showed rates of completely clear skin increased from 41% to 49% and from 33% to 48% from week 24 to week 52, respectively, the company said.
Patients who switched from placebo to icotrokinra at week 16 achieved comparable outcomes by week 52, Johnson & Johnson ( JNJ ) said.
No new safety signals were observed through week 52, with the adverse event profile consistent with earlier results, the company said.
Additionally, Johnson & Johnson ( JNJ ) said nearly 60% of adolescents achieved completely clear skin at week 52.
