FRANKFURT, May 22 (Reuters) - JP Morgan has
appointed former Goldman Sachs banker Alexander Mayer as
the new head of its German and Austrian branch, the U.S.
investment bank said in a memo seen by Reuters on Wednesday.
Mayer previously spent 24 years at Goldman Sachs ( GS ), most
recently as head of Investment Banking for Germany and Austria.
JPM's previous Germany and Austria chief Stefan Povaly will
take on a new role as co-head of Global Corporate Banking EMEA,
the memo adds.
