KBR Given Seat on US Missile Defense Agency Contract With $151 Billion Ceiling

06:29 AM EST, 01/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- KBR (KBR) said Wednesday that it was awarded a seat on the contract for the US Missile Defense Agency's Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a ceiling of $151 billion.

The contract includes various work areas, the company said.

The collaboration with the agency to support missile defense includes the US Department of Defense's Golden Dome for America initiative, said Mark Kavanaugh, president of defense, intelligence, and space at KBR.

Shares of the company were up 3% in recent premarket activity.
