04:00 AM EDT, 07/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- KKR (KKR) has agreed to acquire Australian agricultural infrastructure firm ProTen from Aware Super, an Australian super fund, the companies said Tuesday.

Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close this year, the companies said.

KKR is funding the acquisition through its Asia Pacific Infrastructure Investors II Fund, the companies said.

ProTen develops, owns, and operates farm infrastructure for Australia's poultry business, managing more than 700 poultry sheds in over 60 farms, the companies said.
