Kolibri Global Energy up 3.5%, Renews Normal Course Issuer Bid

07:30 AM EDT, 09/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kolibri Global Energy ( KGEI ) , up 3.5% in the U.S. pre-market trade, Friday said the Toronto Stock Exchange has approved its notice to renew its normal course issuer bid (NCIB).

The company may back up to 1.8 million shares from Sept. 23, for one year.

Kolibri repurchased 548,293 shares at a weighted average price of $7.21 each under its previous NCIB, which ends Sept. 22.

Kolibri shares are up $0.20, to $5.93, in New York trade.
