04:00 AM EDT, 06/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) said Monday it plans to open a new manufacturing plant in Bristow, Oklahoma to produce its GEK line of turbojet engines.
The facility is expected to house up to five production lines with an initial yearly production capacity of 500 engines.
Occupancy of the facility is expected in mid-2026 before fully ramping up by Q4 2026, the company said.
The plant is expected to create 60 new jobs for the initial line and 45 new jobs for each additional line, Kratos said. The facility will also include three small engine test cells.
