08:52 AM EDT, 08/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- L3Harris Technologies ( LHX ) said Thursday the government of Poland has selected it to provide its "Viper Shield" electronic warfare system for the country's F-16 Viper fighter aircraft upgrade.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

Poland will purchase the system through the US government to enhance the offensive and defensive capabilities of its F-16 Block 52+ fighters, the company said.

L3Harris' ( LHX ) 'Viper Shield' will equip Poland's F-16s with the same advanced electronic warfare features as those available to other international allies operating the new F-16 Block 70 variant, the company said.
