11:45 AM EDT, 10/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- L3Harris Technologies ( LHX ) won a $24 million contract from the US Army to deliver software-defined data devices aimed at enhancing battlefield communication systems.

The devices are designed to support high-data throughput for the Army's Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) network infrastructure, offering multiple, resilient transport options and ensuring interoperability across systems used by NATO and Homeland Security, L3Harris ( LHX ) said Wednesday in a statement.

L3Harris ( LHX ) will supply its devices to the Army's 4th Infantry Division ahead of its participation in Project Convergence 2026, a modernization initiative designed to test and integrate new technologies.
