05:21 AM EST, 02/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- L3Harris Technologies ( LHX ) said late Monday it has received a new $400 million contract to produce additional solid rocket boost motors and liquid divert and attitude control systems for the Missile Defense Agency's Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, or THAAD, system.

The company said it supplies these components under the prime contract for the THAAD program.

L3Harris ( LHX ) manufactures the THAAD solid rocket boost motors in Alabama and Arkansas, while the liquid divert and attitude control systems units are produced in Los Angeles.
