Elashmawi succeeds Jim Anderson, who has been appointed as the successor of Coherent's (COHR) outgoing CEO Vincent D. Mattera, Jr.

Lattice Semiconductor's ( LSCC ) shares were down more than 9% in recent Monday premarket activity, while Coherent stock was up 4.8%.
