07:05 AM EDT, 10/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Leidos Holdings ( LDOS ) reported Q3 non-GAAP earnings Tuesday of $2.93 per diluted share, up from $2.03 per share a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.02.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 27 was $4.19 billion, up from $3.92 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $4.07 billion.

The company said it now expects 2024 non-GAAP earnings of $9.80 to $10 per share, up from its previous guidance of $8.60 to $9. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $9.07.

Revenue for the year is now projected to be $16.35 billion to $16.45 billion, compared with its previous outlook of $16.1 billion to $16.4 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $16.29 billion.

The company's shares rose more than 6% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
