07:21 AM EST, 12/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Liberty Gold ( LGDTF ) reported Wednesday initial assays from the 2024 reverse circulation exploration drill program at its Black Pine oxide gold project in Idaho.
Results from the step-out drilling around the Rangefront deposit area include 1.44 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 30.5 meters including 3.25 g/t gold over 9.1 meters, and 0.61 g/t gold over 77.7 meters including 2.15 g/t gold over 4.6 meters.
"The results from our 2024 drill holes in Rangefront are highly encouraging as they show we are still not done at Rangefront, and the deposit shows potential to grow," said Pete Shabestari, the company's vice president of exploration.
The company said it is proceeding with the preparations for submission of the project's mine plan of operations and expects to file it with federal and state agencies by the end of the year.
"With the drill program continuing to yield positive results, we are optimistic about the resource expansion opportunities as we move toward a full feasibility resource model in 2025," Shabestari said.
Liberty Gold's ( LGDTF ) share price rose 1.8% yesterday to $0.29 on the TSX.
