Liberty Latin America, AWS Enter Strategic Collaboration Agreement

10:13 AM EST, 02/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Liberty Latin America ( LILA ) said Tuesday it entered a five-year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AMZN) to accelerate cloud transformation, AI adoption and IT modernization across Latin America and the Caribbean.

The deal includes deploying AWS Outposts to meet data residency requirements, migrating more than 500 workloads to AWS to modernize its tech stack and expanding AWS compute and storage services to the edge of its network.

Liberty said the partnership will support its internal transformation and strengthen its B2B cloud offerings for enterprise customers across the region.

Financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.

Liberty Latin America ( LILA ) shares were more than 2% higher in recent trading.
