Godavarthy has also resigned from the company's board. No explanation for the departure was offered.

Keshav Kochhar, the company's chief operating officer, will assume the CEO role on an interim basis.

The company's shares were last seen down $0.005 to $0.085 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
