Lloyds Banking Group Q1 Earnings, Revenue Fall

07:47 AM EDT, 04/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lloyds Banking Group ( LYG ) reported Q1 earnings Wednesday of 0.017 British pounds ($0.021) per share, down from 0.023 pounds a year earlier.

A single analyst polled by Capital IQ expected 0.02 pounds.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31, expressed as the sum of underlying net interest income and underlying other income, was 4.52 billion pounds, down from 4.79 billion pounds a year earlier.

Analysts' estimates weren't available for revenue.

Lloyds' shares were up more than 1% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
