Lumen Technologies Closes $2 Billion First Lien Notes Due 2033

04:51 PM EDT, 06/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lumen Technologies ( LUMN ) said Monday that its Level 3 Financing unit closed a $2 billion offering of 6.875% first lien notes due 2033.

Level 3 Financing used the net proceeds, along with cash on hand, to redeem $924.5 million in first lien 10.5% senior notes due 2030 and $667.7 million of 10.5% notes due 2029, according to the company.

Level 3 Financing also plans to partially redeem its 11% first lien notes due 2029.
