07:17 AM EST, 01/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lundin Gold ( LUGDF ) overnight Wednesday announced record annual gold production of 502,029 ounces in 2024 from its Fruta del Norte gold mine in southeast Ecuador, beating its guidance of 450,000 to 500,000 ounces.

Fourth quarter gold production was 135,241 ounces and Lundin sold 131,175 ounces of gold. This compares with 99,310 ounces of gold produced, and sales of 98,005 ounces last year.

The company is guiding to 475,000 to 525,000 ounces of gold production in 2025.
