Lundin Mining Reaches Labor Accord With Union Workers at Caserones Mine in Chile

05:37 AM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lundin Mining ( LUNMF ) over the weekend said it has reached an agreement with the union at the Caserones mine in Chile, with a majority of the union members voting in favor of the deal.

A new collective bargaining agreement will be signed and the company will focus on a safe back-to-work plan, along with a ramp-up of operations.

The company said the mine has been running at about 50% of capacity during the labor action, which began earlier this month.

Lundin's share price gained 2.7% to $13.96 on Friday.
