08:01 AM EDT, 07/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lyft ( LYFT ) said Thursday it has completed its acquisition of FREENOW, doubling its addressable market to more than 300 billion personal vehicle trips per year.

"Every conversation I've had with FREENOW drivers and team members has reminded me why we're joining forces: to bring the best of each company to the other," Lyft ( LYFT ) CEO David Risher said in a statement.

Lyft ( LYFT ) said the acquisition will not impact its Q2 financial results.
