Nov 22 (Reuters) - Petrochemicals manufacturer
LyondellBasell said on Friday its Chief Financial
Officer Michael McMurray will retire and be succeeded by insider
Agustin Izquierdo, effective March 1.
Izquierdo, a former executive at Germany's BASF,
had joined Lyondell in November 2022. He is currently the
company's senior vice president at the Olefins & Polyolefins
Americas & Refining unit.
The change in leadership would come when the company is set
to permanently shut its 106-year-old Houston oil refinery in the
first quarter of 2025 and exit the refining business.
The Houston-based company said Izquierdo will continue to
serve in his current role until March 1.
McMurray would be stepping down after more than five years
as CFO.
