10:05 AM EDT, 10/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Maple Leaf Foods ( MLFNF ) Monday launched Musafir, a new protein-forward South Asian-inspired brand with vegetarian and chicken options.

Made in Canada, the Musafir product range features a line-up of protein sources including paneer cheese, eggs, chickpea, and chicken.

"Musafir was developed to explore how food can connect people to culture, memory, and new experiences," said Maple Leaf Foods ( MLFNF ) chief R&D and food technology officer Jitendra Sagili. Shares of the company were last seen up 0.3% at $28.43 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
