08:07 AM EDT, 10/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) is expected to detail new artificial intelligence chips MI325X and MI350 and other processors at an event in San Francisco on Thursday, Reuters reported.

New chips for server CPUs and PCs are also expected to be unveiled during the event, the report said.

The chipmaker did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

AMD said in June that the MI325X would be available in Q4, while the MI350 series would be launched next year. The MI350 would feature increased AI performance compared with the current MI300, AMD said.
