09:45 AM EDT, 09/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) and Amazon ( AMZN ) are being investigated by the Federal Trade Commission over whether they misled advertisers that place ads on their websites, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The FTC's consumer protection unit is looking into whether the companies properly disclosed the pricing and terms for ads, the report said, citing the people.

Alphabet, Amazon ( AMZN ) and the FTC did not immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
