Market Chatter: Amazon Among Firms Being Considered to Provide IAG Planes With Wi-Fi

11:48 AM EST, 12/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) is among several companies being considered to provide airline operator IAG's airplane fleet with wi-fi services, Bloomberg reported.

Bloomberg also reported that IAG, which owns British Airways, Iberia, and Aer Lingus, is also in discussions with Tesla (TSLA) Chief Executive Elon Musk's Starlink to provide the services.

A final decision has not yet been made, Bloomberg reported, citing an interview with Annalisa Gigante, IAG's head of innovation.

Amazon ( AMZN ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
