07:26 AM EDT, 09/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) Project Kuiper satellite internet venture plans to offer service to the US, Canada, France, Germany, and the UK by the end of Q1, Bloomberg reported late Monday, citing an executive.
Amazon ( AMZN ) expects to have more than 200 satellites in low-Earth orbit by the end of the year, the report said, citing Ricky Freeman, president of government solutions for the venture.
The company has said it plans to begin service by late this year, but has not specified which markets will receive coverage, according to the report.
The company hopes to cover 26 countries by the end of next year and 88 to 100 countries by 2028, the report quoted Freeman as saying at an industry event in Paris on Monday.
Amazon ( AMZN ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
