05:56 AM EDT, 09/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) intends to launch a $5 billion investment fund focused on sports, the Financial Times reported Tuesday, people familiar with the matter.

The investment vehicle will focus on lending to sports leagues and teams, as well as acquiring stakes in clubs, the unnamed sources told the publication.

Apollo didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
