06:31 AM EST, 02/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple (AAPL) is working with Chinese partners to bring AI features to its devices in China by the middle of 2025, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

The report said that the iPhone maker has deployed teams in China and the US to overcome technical and regulatory hurdles and adapt the Apple Intelligence platform for China.

The company is relying on Alibaba Group Holding (BABA) and Baidu (BIDU) to help come up with an AI platform acceptable to Beijing authorities, the report said.

Apple did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
