A US district court judge ordered Apple ( AAPL ) to grant greater freedom to developers, particularly allowing them to direct users to alternative payment options, Reuters reported.
Epic considers Apple's ( AAPL ) imposition of a 27% fee on developers for some purchases as violative of the injunction, Reuters said.
Epic wanted to make Apple's ( AAPL ) "tools and technologies available to developers for free," Apple ( AAPL ) was quoted as saying in the filing.
Apple ( AAPL ) and Epic did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
