03:06 PM EDT, 03/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) is upgrading its Health app and adding a health coach, enabled by a new artificial intelligence agent, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported Saturday.

The release of the new app could be as early as the iOS 19.4 update, which is scheduled for spring or summer of 2026, according to the report.

The app would collect data from devices and then an AI coach would use the information to offer customized recommendations to improve a user's health, Gurman said. Apple ( AAPL ) is currently training the AI with physicians it has on staff and is looking to bring in outside doctors to create videos, Gurman said.

Apple ( AAPL ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Shares were up 1.5% in recent trading.
