04:16 PM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Blackstone (BX) hired two new managing partners with extensive experience in asset-based lending and infrastructure finance as part of an initiative within Blackstone Credit and Insurance division to expand private credit portfolios, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing a person with knowledge of the matter.
Aneek Mamik reportedly will join Blackstone Credit and Insurance in November as a senior managing director from Varde Partners and will focus on asset-based finance investments, the source told Bloomberg.
Chris Yonan is slated to become the head of Blackstone's European infrastructure finance unit in London, building on his experience as the co-head of power, utilities and infrastructure at Jefferies Financial Group (JEF).
Blackstone did not immediately respond to a request from MT Newswires seeking comment.
