11:21 AM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Blackstone (BX) agreed to buy $5 billion of private equity holdings from the New York City pension system, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing a statement from the NYC Comptroller's office.

Blackstone did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
