Market Chatter: BP Resumes Normal Operations of Indiana Refinery After Feb. 1 Power Outage

03:53 PM EDT, 03/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BP's (BP) refinery in Whiting, Indiana, resumed normal operations following its plantwide power outage in February, Reuters reported Monday, citing a company spokesperson.

The plant has a daily capacity of 435,000 and the power outage on Feb. 1 affected gasoline prices in the Chicago area, the report said.

BP did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
